In the Radio Comedy category, The Joy Of Adult Education by Mark Wallington has been selected for pilot commission.

I had doubts about The Missing Postman, prompted by pre-publicity wafflings about its "wistfulness" and "gentleness" and "Englishness". As a rule of thumb, I find, it pays to be extremely wary of anything that gets compared to an Ealing comedy. But in fact this was sharply written, expertly played and came very close to justifying its two-and-a-half hour span.
