Luisa Omielan is a British comedian, born to parents of Polish descent, who is best known for her 'party' atmosphere during live gigs. After beginning her career at the Brighton Fringe, she brought her debut stand-up show 'What Would Beyoncé Do?!' to the Edinburgh Fringe, which was adapted into a TV version, Luisa Omielan's What Would Beyoncé Do?!, released on the BBC in 2017. In 2018 she adapted another live Fringe stage-show, 'Politics for Bitches', a lighthearted but committed look at socioeconomic injustice in the UK, into six 30-minute episodes for the BBC: Luisa Omielan's Politics For Bitches.
