Mister Winner, BBC2 review
Gentle comedy about one of life's losers.
Veronica Lee, The Arts Desk, 26th March 2020TV review: Mister Winner, BBC Two
Comedy fans who have seen Jones onstage or enjoyed Clunkerdunk may be surprised by this. There is no laugh track or studio laughter giving it a slightly flat feel. But Jones is great and is always watchable, even when you can see the punchlines coming a miles off. It just seems like an odd fit for someone who is so imaginative, creative and talented.
Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 25th March 2020Mister Winner, episode 1 review
Spencer Jones is one of the funniest, most inventive comedians to have emerged in recent years - which is why it's so disappointing to see him in this most lukewarm of sitcoms. It's like putting Lewis Hamilton behind the wheel of a Reliant Robin.
Steve Bennett, Chortle, 25th March 2020Mister Winner, review
This good-natured comedy is just the tonic we need right now.
Anita Singh, The Telegraph, 25th March 2020The best comedy of 2019
Another year has past and once again it's been a pretty amazing one for comedy across the board, and it's been hard to whittle each category down to a top 10. But here are our suggestions for the best tv, film and live comedy of the year, along with a couple of other lists as well.

Brian Donaldson, The List, 19th December 2019One and Done: Ed & Joz's Heist Movie
I really hope this recently made pilot isn't a case of One and Done, it'd be a real crime if these glorious idiots weren't given their own series, and one which should be punished by a very long prison sentence indeed.
Alex Finch, Comedy To Watch, 12th December 2019Live review: Lucy Pearman - Baggage
It's not quite up there with Palamides and Pauroso but those are two of the best comedy shows I've seen in a long time, and given how talented, imaginative and just downright hilarious Pearman is I've no doubt that she'll soon be joining them as an example of the very best comic talent around.
