Ken Dodd

Sir Ken Dodd OBE was an English stand-up comedian, singer and writer, active on stage, television and radio. A devoted scholar, practitioner and proponent of comedy in all its forms, Dodd enjoyed an extremely prolific and long-lasting career. Best known for his stand-up work and Happiness shows, he also released a string of hit records and was one of the 1960s' best-selling artists.
