British Comedy Guide, 19th January 2015Radio Times review
Ray Mears walks straight into Frank Skinner's comedy trap when he suggests that fakes should be consigned to Room 101. He always wants to have the real thing. "I agree. We tried to get Bear Grylls rather than you. But he cost ten grand!" is Skinner's response.
Ray brings a certain gravitas to the show, while fellow panellists Fiona Bruce and Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan keep it light. Actually, Ryan has some extraordinary dance moves and even more unusual pet peeves. She believes nappies should only be available on prescription, and that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is not only part of a government conspiracy but also a robot.
Jane Rackham, Radio Times, 16th January 2015Review: Katherine Ryan, Glasgow

Here - ahead of a gig at Cambridge Junction - she talks about feeling like a Londoner, and having a 'ridiculous' accent.

Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 10th November 2014Katherine Ryan at Biggleswade Castle Comedy: review
As for her set, hilarious is the best word to describe it. She is clearly very comfortable on the stage and her material is a mix of the satirical, the topical and just downright funny.
Andrew Watt, Bedfordshire News, 5th November 2014Katherine Ryan review
As well as addressing hard-hitting topical things such as sexism, she tackles one topic in particular that could be seen in bad taste, that being abortion.
