John Sullivan in profile

John Sullivan was perhaps one of the most prolific comedy script writers of a generation. His timeless comedies have been watched and enjoyed by millions all over the world for over forty years. It started with Citizen Smith in 1977, brought us what was to become the nation's favourite sitcom in 1981 with Only Fools And Horses and more recently 2010/11, the fools and horses prequel Rock And Chips. It wasn't just his sitcoms: he also wrote the themes for many of his comedies.
