The University of East Anglia (UEA) got a £300,000 grant for a three-year study into "the nature of creativity within the British television comedy industry." The study is called Make Me Laugh. It started in January 2012 and ends in December 2014. The 'Principal Investigator' is Dr Brett Mills.
