TV's blackest comedy is as dry, wry and hopelessly romantic as ever.

Jessica Barden: 'Alyssa is dealing with depression'

The actress reveals that Alyssa is "dealing with depression and doesn't understand it" following the dramatic season one finale.

Flora Carr, Radio Times, 31st October 2019

Was James (Alex Lawther) actually killed by police shooters in the series one finale, leaving Alyssa (Jessica Barden) to face justice alone? That's how Charles Forsman's original graphic novel ended, but since this show about two runaway teen psychos is back for more 90s indie flick-inspired mayhem, we're guessing screenwriter Charlie Covell has made some changes. Now their dark dalliance can continue in these short-but not-too-sweet episodes.

One of the best comic adaptations you've not heard of

In 2010, comic book movies were already big, but it would be two years before the first Avengers movie would hit theaters and they became an unstoppable force. So it was an ideal time for Tamara Drewe, a movie that was, and still very much is, an exception to the rules of the genre.

The End of the F***ing World review: episodes 1 & 2

The setting of the show is a little mixed. While it inherently appears to be British, there's a somewhat American feel to some of the locations, particularly when the pair walk home.

Han Hunter, Cult Box, 31st October 2017

Why everyone should watch The End of the F***ing World

I had only intended to watch one episode of new comedy drama The End of the F***ing World on All4 but before I knew it I'd seen the entire series. I've been known to binge but never to this extent. I've never watched an entire series in one day. I felt an instant connection to the lead characters, which is a little worrying as one is a self proclaimed psycho and spends the first half of the series plotting the death of the other.
