Jeannie was born in Glasgow and went to the University of Glasgow. It was during her University years that she developed a passion for stand up comedy.
She has been on the Scottish comedy scene for 12 years. She hosts "Over The Lyne Comedy" and "EdinBra" a female line up show at Edinburgh Fringe. She has performed shows at Edinburgh, Brighton Fringes, Leicester, Coventry & Glasgow comedy festivals. She received a nomination for best kids show at Leicester.
She has performed in Europe for Mad Cow Comedy in Utrecht , Cosmic Comedy in Berlin & Art of Comedy in Spain.
She has TV credits with BBC Scotland Comedy Underground and BBC Scotland radio credits on "The good, the bad and the unexpected" and writing credits on "Breaking the News"
