Janey Godley documentary Janey coming to cinemas and the BBC
Janey Godley is the subject of a feature-length documentary, Janey, coming soon to cinemas and the BBC, in which she reflects upon her terminal cancer, being "cancelled", her sexual abuse as a child and her mother's murder. The film features her in conversation with Jimmy Carr, Nicola Sturgeon and her daughter, Ashley Storrie.

The 55-year-old's latest clash came with 62-year-old comedian Godley after Linehan claimed people were "politicising" the death of Brianna Ghey, who he called a "confused young boy". Godley said of Linehan: "I'm not scared of him nor his transphobic gang of wullie (sic) watchers and toilet guards. He's a piece of s***e - I have terminal cancer and I have more work than him because I'm not a transphobic deadnaming clackw**ker."
