Jack Whitehall does what he seems to best at: playing middle/upper class fools who are clearly out of their depth.
Ian Wolf, On The Box, 25th October 2017It is hard to imagine an more odd couple than Jack Whitehall in maximum mimsy mode and Do the Right Thing's spitfire Rosie Perez, the chalk-and-gelignite pairing at the heart of Sky1's madcap new action comedy. Whitehall plays bumbling student Barnaby who, while minding his dad's antiques shop, gets embroiled in a plot involving looted Syrian treasure. Enter Nina: a streetwise Brooklyn skip-tracer with some special skills and her own covert agenda.
Graeme Virtue, The Guardian, 25th October 2017Jack Whitehall to play Harlequin in Disney's Nutcracker
He said: "I'm doing a Disney film where I play something else. It comes out next year and it's called The Nutcracker. It's very exciting."
The Sun, 25th October 2017Review: Jack Whitehall At Large, Netflix
Even if you don't think much of his comedy you have to admire Jack Whitehall's work ethic.
Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 25th October 2017Bounty Hunters review
Some of the issues are surely down to the establishing work the first episode has to do. So it's a good sign that after it airs you'll want to see what happens in part two. On that score, at least, job done.
Steve Bennett, Chortle, 25th October 2017Jack Whitehall At Large review
But with both this special and Travels With My Father, on Netflix, and the clear transatlantic appeal of his new Sky comedy Bounty Hunters, maybe that longed-for Stateside success won't elude him for long.
Steve Bennett, Chortle, 24th October 2017Jack Whitehall feared for his life after ALOTO crash
I can reveal paramedics rushed to a racing track in Essex after Jack's co-star Freddie rammed his car into a wall at 70mph.
Dan Wootton, The Sun, 16th October 2017Jack Whitehall's Travels sees the posh banter fly
The travel show gives a hilarious insight into the relationship between the comedian and his openly critical father Michael, and I'm already looking forward to the rest.
Ian Hyland, The Mirror, 5th October 2017Review: Travels With My Father, Episode 3
There are some nice moments here when Jack gets to show off his fancy footwork, playing soccer with a team who live on an island and don't even have a grass pitch.
Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 30th September 2017Review: Travels With My Father, Netflix
It's a familiar travelogue format but a very watchable one.
