And, who knows, perhaps that's why the phrase "Jesus wept" came so readily to my lips while watching Jack & Jeremy's Real Lives (C4) on Friday night. They're a double act with two straight men, a partnership for whom the expression "but comedy is subjective you know" might have been invented, and the occasion of their coming together seemed less like a marriage than a wake.
