Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em - The Alexandra, Birmingham review

Unsworth's direction ensures the whole never pauses for breath as we are swept along with the narrative so that, as an uncomplicated farce, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em is a triumph; and for that reason, the superficiality of the characterisation and relationships won't matter for many who seek a good laugh on a night out.

Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em review

With some development, this piece could have had the success of The Play That Goes Wrong with the fan base of the original series, however with a failure to communicate with a newer audience I'm afraid the piece feels unable to progress past the theme tune played in homage at the very beginning.
