TV preview: Man Down, C4

Good to see Greg Davies back as helpless, hapless, hopeless giant man-child teacher Dan. There are some nice new treats in the supporting cast too, but they have to have pretty big personalities to stand a chance of competing with Davies. Luckily they are.

Taskmaster: series two - episode 2 review

On this week's episode of the comedy challenge show, we watch some disturbing music videos, horrible culinary habits, and learn that Joe Wilkinson looks like a battered toaster.

Ian Wolf, On The Box, 28th June 2016

A new series of the show in which Greg Davies sets a series of increasingly irritating tasks for famous comedians, this week comprising Jon Richardson, Katherine Ryan, Joe Wilkinson, Doc Brown and Richard Osman. At stake and up for grabs is the most important document each comedian owns. In the case of Joe Wilkinson, it's his marriage certificate, so nothing trivial. The biggest take-home from this is that lateral thinking is clearly not a comic's forte.

Review: Taskmaster, series two, episode 1

Taskmaster is great at displaying people's laterial thinking.

TV review: Taskmaster, Dave

It is no surprise that comedians are ruthlessly competitive. What I didn't realise until Taskmaster came along was how cunning and crafty they can be when he comes to getting one over on their stand-up rivals.

Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 21st June 2016

Taskmaster Series 2 preview

Fear not, because Dave have absolutely pulled it out the bag yet again and picked a terrific mix of people who are each so different, but unite in stupidity.
