Johnny Vegas to run antiques shop in Quest series
TV channel Quest has announced it is to further expand its antiques offering with new show Johnny Vegas' Little Shop Of Antiques.
The eight episodes, each an hour long, will follow the comedian opening up a new antiques shop in the North West, "giving viewers access to a side of the TV personality never seen before".
The blurb explains: "As he investigates, hunts and repairs pieces to add to his collection, he strives to make enough profit in his new shop to turn it into a permanent business. With taste as eclectic as his personality, there will be hilarious disasters, unusual finds and touching moments as he attempts to turn his ramshackle dream into a reality."
The series is made by Plum Pictures, the same production company that worked with Vegas on his Channel 4 series Carry On Glamping.
Johnny Vegas' Little Shop Of Antiques will start on TV in July 2025.
Quest has also commissioned a sixth series of Auction House and a second series of Derbyshire Auction House.
