Frank Randle Triple Bill - Somewhere In Camp / Somewhere On Leave / Home Sweet Home
Triple bill of 1940s features starring the controversial music hall comic Frank Randle.
Somewhere In Camp (1942) sees Randle take on the role of Private Randle, one of a number of soldiers who set out to help the lovelorn Private Trevor (John Singer) seduce the daughter of their commanding officer. Chaos duly ensues.
Somewhere On Leave (1943) follows another adventure involving Private Randle. This time it is Private Roy (Pat McGrath) who makes the fateful decision to involve his friends in his efforts at courting.
In Home Sweet Home (1945) Frank (Randle) finds himself acting as an intermediary when Colonel Wright (H.F. Maltby) and his wife decide that an orphan girl of Frank's acquaintance isn't good enough to marry their son.
