Next week sees the 20th anniversary of Is it Bill Bailey?, a short-lived BBC Two comedy combining Bailey's stand-up routines, pop songs parodies and some genuinely funny sketches. Sketches that helped give a hint of where Wright and Pegg's careers would go in future.

Mark Brown, The Herald, 12th February 2017Review: Still Game Live 2--Bon Voyage
Adapting a hit TV programme into a live experience can easily go wrong: go too far away from the source material and fans can feel alienated at best, and yet keep too close and the question of 'why bother' becomes difficult to answer. Of course, the makers of Still Game had one ace up their sleeve when they announced a new show at the Hydro for this year: they'd done it before to great success. Which in turn adds a further rung to the ladder of possible hiccups--can that first success be repeated, or even surpassed?
Michael Cox, Across The Arts, 7th February 2017Still Game Live 2: Bon Voyage review
Tellingly, you leave satisfied if this is to be Still Game's final live voyage, but keen to return if there are further productions still to come.
Jay Richardson, Chortle, 6th February 2017Still Game: Live 2 Bon Voyage
When Jack and Victor take to the stage and insist that there will be less spectacular effects than at their first Hydro residency in 2014, you just know that the opposite will be true. So, when Navid, Isa, Winston, Boaby and Tam make their entrances, it's via increasingly daring stunts that have the adoring throng in raptures.
Brian Donaldson, The List, 6th February 2017Still Game: Live 2 review - hilarity ahoy
When does a sitcom get too big for its boots? It's a worry that must have crossed the minds of Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill on returning to the hangar-like Hydro where, in 2014, Still Game played to 210,000 people in 21 nights.
There's something surreal about seeing the TV escapades of Jack and Victor in a venue where bouncers guard the stage and the audience needs two giant screens just to see what's happening. Undaunted, they've come back with a show of even greater ambition - and just as many laughs.
Mark Fisher, The Guardian, 5th February 2017Still Game Live 2 review
Showbiz is full of people going on journeys, most of them tedious. Not this one. Book your passage.
