Morgana Robinson's The Agency preview

Whether you're watching with the sound off or your eyes closed, you'll be in no doubt as to who Morgana is portraying. Each sketch is brilliantly written and performed and I really hope that 2016 is the year that Morgana Robinson's talents finally get recognised.

Damned preview

I can only imagine the delight Jo Brand felt when Damned was finally given the proper green light. And thank god it did, because the end result proves that Damned has all the ingredients for a long-running comedy.

Josh Widdicombe interview

We're just really looking forward to everyone seeing it. We enjoyed the first series but we feel like this is a real step up. We've really learnt what we're doing now and it was just great fun to make.

I talk to: Sally Lindsay

Sky 1's hit comedy drama Mount Pleasant is returning for a sixth series, and whilst it's very much an ensemble piece, Sally Lindsay has been there from the beginning and involved in some brilliant storylines, so I caught up with her for a chat.

I talk: David Brent: Life on the Road - review

15 years ago, The Office launched on BBC Two and now David Brent is back... only this time he's on the big screen and I've been lucky enough to watch Life On The Road ahead of its release. The Office was a mockumentary which disrupted the comedy landscape and whose influence can still be seen today in comedies such as People Just Do Nothing on BBC Three, W1A on BBC Two and the recently launched Borderline on Channel 5.

Elliot Gonzalez, I Talk Telly, 10th August 2016

Channel 5's first homegrown comedy in 10 years, Borderline is a mockumentary following an inept team of UK border officials. The retro-scripted rockumentary is based in the border security office of Northland Airport, a small provincial airport in the UK. The six-part series follows the daily lives of the staff who work there, their relationships with each other and the obstacles they face on a daily basis. Tackling the hot topic of immigration, Borderline examines what happens when 'normal' people have to make decisions they wouldn't usually make, because of a new government initiative or legislation. Shining a light on the complexities of these decisions, and based on writer Michael Orton-Toliver/p]'s own real life experience, Borderline shows these issues through a humorous lens and, in true British comedy tradition, give us an opportunity to laugh at ourselves in the face of adversity.

If you've ever switched over to Comedy Central, chances are you would have landed on either an episode of Friends or Impractical Jokers, the show where four comedians and lifelong friends compete to embarrass each other out amongst the general public with a series of hilarious and outrageous dares. Now the show is getting a UK version, but not for the first time. Back in 2012, BBC Three launched Impractical Jokers with a cast made up of Paul McCaffrey, Joel Dommett, Marek Larwood, and Roisin Conaty. The show was an instant hit, ran for 12 episodes across two series and last year it was announced that Channel 5 were making an all-new series of Impractical Jokers UK with a whole new cast; Lee Griffiths, Matt Ralph, Paul Biggin, and David Moon - otherwise known as comedy group Late Night Gimp Fight. Based on the hit US series, Impractical Jokers UK sees four best friends compete in a series of challenges, turning everyday situations into outrageously funny and embarrassing tests by breaking all the rules of British politeness. Time will tell if it will live up to the US version, or even the first Impractical Jokers.
