Row with Elf Lyons & Christian Talbot over crowdfunding

A stand-up has blasted a fellow comedian for taking crowdfunding - saying her family is too well-off for her to be worthy of support. TV review: The Stand Up Sketch Show, series 2 episode 4

If they cut down the show to four comedians, giving them five or six minutes each, and made sure that the routines they wished to perform actually benefited from being acted out then this could be a great show. But as it is, it just doesn't work three quarters of the time, the visual element all too often adds absolutely nothing to the material, and the choice of comedian really needs to be improved upon if it's to be a show worthy of anyone's time.

Live review: Gorgon by Elf Lyons

Elf Lyons' new show, created for this year's Vault Festival, wouldn't necessarily have to be a site-specific performance, but it's difficult to imagine a better setting for this story than the long dark space of the cavern, with its crumbling walls and almost tangible scent of decay.
