Comedian Eddie Izzard says he will run 27 marathons in 27 days in honour of Nelson Mandela's time in prison.
Izzard said he will make the journey through places that have a connection with the former South African President's life.
Speaking in South Africa, the comedian said he will make a documentary about the challenge and run with a "barefoot technique".
