I'm guessing he (or she) isn't trying to set up actual dates and that it's got more to do with sending spam or somesuch but even so, on some level, it ought to be flattering that someone thought it would make a passable profile picture. Especially for someone listed as 32. As I write this, I'm 44.

Are smartphones killing comedy?

At two gigs in the past fortnight, I've seen two comics seek to defuse the threat in the same way. Both Dave Gorman and Aziz Ansari offered to pose for audience photographs at the top of the show, after which the audience were required to power down the cameras and concentrate on the comedy.
