Banished to ITV3, stuck at 10pm then given a six-month mid-series break. Well done, ITV, for giving your classiest comedy drama such a fine chance at an audience. Well done indeed. Programming like that means that new controller Danny Cohen will have a breeze at BBC1.

Review: Russell Howard's Good News

"Know thy lot, Know thine enemies, Know thyself." - Sun Tzu, The Art of War.

With this in mind, I bid you all take a good long look at the bottom of this review where you should find a photograph of one Mr. Danny Cohen. If you ever see this man in the street, walk up to him. Say nothing. Then punch him squarely in the face. Nothing else.

12.15: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps
12.45: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps

Ach. What about tomorrow?

11.55: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps
12.25: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps
2.20: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps
2.50: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps

Balls to it! Surely there's something good to watch on Friday?

12.40: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps
1.10: Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps

Oh for heaven's sake. I'm pretty radged off at being presented with dreck like Two Pints twice a bloody evening while genius like Snuff Box lies dormant - and nobody at the Beeb seems to be worried.
