Bristol has always punched above its weight when producing comedians, and the city's new comedy festival - in addition to the big-name Comedy Garden and vintage Slapstick Festival celebrations - aims to nurture the already fruitful grassroots scene.

Alex Forsyth and Daisy Doris May were confirmed as runners up, and three further finalists (Nathaniel Brimmer-Beller, Laith Elzubaidi and Katie Payne) will receive bursaries to help develop their next live performance. Screenshot was designed to celebrate the British live comedy scene and find the next generation of comedy writer-performers for TV.
