Inside No. 9 review

The whole tale was so arch it was bent double. But no one has said 'bomb' in such a silly accent since the Pink Panther movies. I defy you not to snigger.

Starstruck review

Though it is sometimes too ready to stoop for cheap laughs, Starstruck will leave you yearning to know if Tom and Jessie get back together.

Frank Of Ireland review

All they've achieved so far feels like a remake of Dumb And Dumber, starring Mrs Brown's Boys.

Two Ronnies make modern lefty comics look like toddlers

Fifty years after their incomparable TV show began, Christopher Stevens celebrates the genius of The Two Ronnies... and argues they make today's Left-wing 'comedians' look like foul-mouthed toddlers.

Celebrity Juice review

Zero stars

This asinine panel game requires nothing from its players apart from four-letter rants and disgusting anecdotes about sex. Despite this, every round is heavily scripted and edited, so that it manages to combine potty-mouthed witlessness with a complete lack of spontaneity.

Meet The Richardsons review

Until today's comics grow out of the puerile urge to swear for laughs, there can never be another truly funny sitcom. Foul language kills good comedy. It ditches the need for wit or clever characters, and replaces them with an easy spatter of obscenity. Meet The Richardsons (Dave) is a prime example.

Taskmaster review

As easy as keeping a cushion spinning on a finger.

Stand Up And Deliver review

When I watch stand-up on TV, I can never shake the feeling that I'm staring through a tiny window at a figure far away.

Back review

Whether you can stomach the lurches from pitch-black humour about mental illness to banter about fizzy drinks in the bar depends chiefly on how much you enjoy Mitchell and Webb as a sitcom double act. Fans of their previous series, Peep Show, might love it. I can't say I do.

Staged review

It's going in circles... down the plughole.
