Review: The Improvised Play
Improv comedy is one of the hardest skills any performer can master. When it goes wrong it can be a horrendous car crash for audience and performer alike. But on the occasions when everything clicks into place, there is little that can beat it.
Lola-Rose Maxwell and Charlie Kemp, thankfully, fall into the latter camp. With The Improvised Play, they attempt to construct a play based on nothing but audience suggestions of a decade, a location and a title.
