The camp comedian may be an acquired taste for many, but his chat show has now reached its fifth series. Joining him for an all-male natter this evening are David Hasselhoff (plugging his panto Peter Pan), the cast of The Inbetweeners and actors Colin Farrell and Jim Sturgess (plugging their new film The Way Back). Expect plenty of leering from Carr. Cee Lo Green also performs his new single.
Catherine Gee, The Telegraph, 10th December 2010Little-known comedian Morgana Robinson brings her own sketch comedy series to Channel 4. It's pretty standard stuff for late-night comedy - a bit surreal, occasionally amusing. She sends up celebrities such as Fearne Cotton and Cheryl Cole as well as performing her own original characters.
Catherine Gee, The Telegraph, 29th November 2010Peep Show: why it's still the UK's best sitcom
As David Mitchell and Robert Webb return for a seventh series of Peep Show, Catherine Gee looks at how, after all these years, it's still getting laughs.
Catherine Gee, The Telegraph, 26th November 2010The stand-up show has reached its sixth series and kicks off with some trusty names. Mock the Week regular Sean Lock is the host and dishes out gags about the perils of people wanting to try on your glasses and - that old topic that just about anyone can relate to - having children. He introduces Liverpudlian John Bishop, whose own comedy series was shown on BBC One in the summer. Over the following five episodes we can expect to see Dara O Briain, Lenny Henry, Jon Richardson and Shappi Khorsandi among those taking the stage.
Catherine Gee, The Telegraph, 24th November 2010This supernatural teenage drama remains brilliant as it reaches its third blue gag-laden episode. The gaggle of social outcasts who acquired superpowers during a thunderstorm continue to wonder who the enigmatic masked man is after he rescues Alisha (Antonia Thomas) from a mugging. Meanwhile, Nathan (Robert Sheehan) manages to ruin his romantic chances with Kelly (Lauren Socha) when he insults her tattooist.

Catherine Gee, The Telegraph, 16th February 2010This strand dedicated to showcasing up-and-coming comedy talent returns for a second series. In Campus, the first of seven one-offs, a selection of vaguely familiar faces (among them Andy Nyman from E4's zomcom Dead Set) assume the roles of staff working at the fictitious Kirke University. Written by some of the team behind Green Wing, Campus is dark but only mildly funny.
Catherine Gee, The Telegraph, 6th November 2009The two jovial comedians continue their quest to be the new kings of sketch comedy with the fourth instalment in this series. Tonight's highlight is "Divorced Dad" insensitively telling his young son that the reason the girl his son likes hasn't replied to his text message is because she's "out of his league".
Catherine Gee, The Telegraph, 6th November 2009The music panel show continues as Noel Fielding settles into his new role as permanent team captain opposite the immovable Phill Jupitus. Comedian Rhod Gilbert takes the guest presenter's chair tonight (replacing Simon Amstell who has now left the series). Fielding is joined by sports presenter Gabby Logan and Jeremy Reynolds from trendy electro band Hockey. Facing them is a far more intriguing line-up comprised of Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp and gravel-voiced comedian Greg Davies, who plays the angry head of sixth form in The Inbetweeners.
