Rosie Holt's MP Party Viral Video Mistaken For The Real Thing
Rosie Holt's satirical video clip in which she plays an MP explaining that she doesn't know if she attended a party at Downing Street has gone viral. Historian Simon Schama called it "total genius" and Gary Lineker realised it was a joke and posted a tears-of-laughter emoji, but some people have been confused and wondered if Holt is real.

Bruce Dessau, Beyond The Joke, 30th December 2021Review: Death To 2021, Netflix
Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe end-of-year reports for the BBC were essential viewing. Last year though he did a caustic commentary for Netflix, Death To 2020, without appearing onscreen himself, which didn't quite have the same sardonic sucker punches. Not for English viewers anyway. It seemed to be aimed at an American audience. And now with Death To 2021, there is a further shift.
