Comedians announced for Glasgow Comedy Festival Closing Gala

Organisers have said that alongside the presentation of the first ever Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award, Janey Godley and Paul Black will be joined by comedians Liam Farrelly, Marc Jennings, Scott Agnew, Weegie Hink Ae That?! and Jay Lafferty - all ably compered by Susie McCabe. Judy Murray and the third Murray brother, Duncan, are also set to appear. More acts are still to be announced.

Leicester Comedy Festival company announces new leadership team

With both current CEO Laura Arends and Founder Geoff Rowe stepping down this year, Big Difference Company, the charity who produce Leicester Comedy Festival and The UK Kids' Comedy Festival are delighted to announce a new leadership team that will take charge following this year's festivals. Joining the Company as CEO will be Michael Harris-Wakelam who is currently Theatre and Events Manager at the Y Theatre in Leicester.
