Inside No. 9 has won the Best Comedy Award at the South Bank Sky Arts Awards. The programme's creators and stars Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton collected the award at a ceremony in London from their League of Gentlemen colleague Mark Gatiss. Paddington 2 won Best Film.

Comedian puts the Fringe in Edinburgh Fringe

Unlike most comedians who spend a fortune at the Edinburgh Fringe, James Meehan, in what he describes as a moment of madness, spent £3,000 to train as a barber. Now that he has graduated, he is planning on taking his new skill set to the Edinburgh Fringe this year for any comedian needing their hairline giving a trim for ten pound, with half the proceeds going to the male suicide prevention charity CALM.
