The picture comes from the archives of The Herald and shows Connolly grabbing photographer Stuart Bell outside The Drury Lane Theatre in London on September 1981. "I've battered a few of them [photographers]," says Connolly. "I was in the middle of a divorce and my children and wife were in Scotland and I was with Pam in London. It was impossible to stay sane being chased by the paparazzi so I lashed out."
