Could men behave badly... again?

According to reports circulating the globe, there are rumors of the classic mid-90's British comedy, Men Behaving Badly, returning with Neil Morrisey getting the band back together. Morrissey, who played Tony Smart, has approached the BBC with the idea of seeing how the two main characters Tony and his flatmate, Gary (Martin Clunes), are coping with middle age (one can only imagine since they coped with their early 30's concept of eternal childhood so well).

All-time best Python sketches. Vote early and often.

You may have heard, recently, that the Pythons will lend their voices to the upcoming film, A Liar's Autobiography, an animated 3D movie based on the memoir of the late Python member, Graham Chapman, who died in 1989. Chapman's own voice will be pulled from his original reading of his autobiography of the same name. Interestingly, the movie, set for a 2012 premiere, will be directed by Bill Jones, son of former Python member, Terry Jones.

Robbie Coltrane in Lead Balloon brilliance

Those lucky enough to reside within range of a BBC Two signal last night, hopefully, saw a brilliant episode from the new season of the genius British comedy series, Lead Balloon, starring Jack Dee. In an apples and oranges kind of scenario, this reminded me of last years "Rope" episode from Psychoville in that it was not only innovative television, but pushed the boundaries of an ongoing series from a creative standpoint to a level that showcases the creative genius of the series.

Wrong Trousers Day 2011 from Wallace & Gromit

It's 24 June 2011 so, naturally, it's the perfect day to don your wackiest trousers and go to work. Why, is probably your immediate question. Easy enough. It's officially Wrong Trousers Day 2011, deemed so by the Wallace and Gromit Foundation which raises funds for children in hospitals and hospices across the UK.

Five minutes with Sean Power - Lead Balloon IV

Tellyspotting caught up with the great Sean Power, Rick's American co-writer and part-time conspirator who, quietly, longs to drive Rick crazy. Besides his role as Marty, Power is a well-known playwright and stage director with an extensive career in the theatre.

How did you celebrate Towel Day?

In Canada, they appointed a Towel Day Ambassador. Imagine, not only did the guy with the Don't Panic tattoo not win, the winner was from Tennessee. There was a Towel March against the Vogon violence in Sao Paolo (who wouldn't march against that on any day), a combat de serviette in Paris, towel-wearing flash mobs in both Krakow and Austria, a meeting at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe in, where else, Bali and, a Vogon Poetry Slam in London.

Tribeca well worth 'The Trip'

Granted, Steve is a household name in the UK. He's a comic genius that has given the world, perhaps, the greatest of all talk-show hosts in Alan Partridge. In America, however, Coogan remains a virtual unknown to everyone with the exception of those that have seen Night at the Museum.

Steven Moffat: Creating comedy, start to finish

Counting down the days until Doctor Who-mania kicks in with the combined U.S./UK premiere of series 6 on 23 April, I'm reminded of the comedy genius side of the Steven Moffat brain in the pre-Doctor Who, pre-Sherlock days of Coupling.
