Ben Elton

Ben Elton is an English stand-up comedian, novelist, playwright, actor and writer who is best known for his work on 1980s sitcoms The Young Ones and Blackadder, and as the popular face of the decade's "alternative comedy" boom. Having married an Australian musician, Sophie Gare, in 1994, Elton holds dual nationality between the two countries and is now primarily resident in western Australia.
