In this week's episode of Taskmaster we see artistic silhouettes, a huge number of Calippos, and the return of old friends.

Taskmaster: series two - episode 2 review

On this week's episode of the comedy challenge show, we watch some disturbing music videos, horrible culinary habits, and learn that Joe Wilkinson looks like a battered toaster.

Ian Wolf, On The Box, 28th June 2016

A new series of the show in which Greg Davies sets a series of increasingly irritating tasks for famous comedians, this week comprising Jon Richardson, Katherine Ryan, Joe Wilkinson, Doc Brown and Richard Osman. At stake and up for grabs is the most important document each comedian owns. In the case of Joe Wilkinson, it's his marriage certificate, so nothing trivial. The biggest take-home from this is that lateral thinking is clearly not a comic's forte.

Review: Taskmaster, series two, episode 1

Taskmaster is great at displaying people's laterial thinking.

TV review: Taskmaster, Dave

It is no surprise that comedians are ruthlessly competitive. What I didn't realise until Taskmaster came along was how cunning and crafty they can be when he comes to getting one over on their stand-up rivals.

Preview: Murder In Successville, BBC3

There is certainly a lot of improvisation about at the moment. We reviewed this yesterday and there is this show at the Soho Theatre. But there is nothing quite like BBC Three's Murder In Successville, which features real celebrities winging it to crack a fictional killing alongside comedians playing it for laughs.

Meet the new inhabitants of Successville

To celebrate, the good folk at Tiger Aspect have let us in on a little more about this year's murder victims and the suspects, who is playing who, and exactly when you'll be able to see them... plus a set of exclusive images across this post of most of our regulars in action. You'll probably notice there's a distinct lack of Paul Kaye in this images, but more on that one soon... until then, here's a run-down of each episode!

Doc Brown: comedy not the place to address Oscars row

"It's not the battlefield. You're preaching to the converted. I don't think it's all stand-ups but if they really want to do something you've got to get off the stage and do something about it. A joke is not the way forward."
