Bas van Peijpe studied history and dramaturgy in Amsterdam. Twenty years ago, he started as a scriptwriter for the Dutch Sesame Street. Over the years he has been writing for a broad range of children's programs and more recently also for adult comedy shows as Dit Was Het Nieuws (Have I Got News For You), Nieuw Zeer and Newsjack.
