Amber's warm and witty stand-up combines her unique observational musings with tales about life in her beloved Essex. She was selected as a finalist in the British Comedy Guide Performance Awards 2021.
Amber also writes, produces and hosts her own sketch comedy podcast, The Amber Phillips Comedy Sketchbook. Featuring an eclectic assortment of sketches and one-liners, the show began as a lockdown project and has taken on a life of its own. The podcast appears regularly on BBC Essex radio, and it has gained a loyal online following.
A passionate writer, Amber' s comedy influences include Gavin and Stacey, Monty Python and The Two Ronnies. Amber has written for a number of podcasts and radio shows, including Newsjack on BBC Radio 4 Extra.
