Alfie Moore is everything but that, managing to inject his observational wit into the tales his 19 years of experience on the Humberside force have provided him. As a result of last year's riots coinciding with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe he was unable to get his show off the ground. This year, not even the Olympics can stop him.
