A comedy about a gay friendship circle. Meet the fabulous group of Richie, Anto, Benji, Aaron and Kyle.
Creator David O'Reilly, talking about his sitcom project, says: "Our aim was never originally to set it in lockdown but we took the opportunity of lockdown to make a short of it and show a potential audience the characters and invite them into that world. A world of gay friendship and relationships.
"It has been filmed on smart phones and includes a cast of 11 actors whose family and friends participated in filming. The vision and creation of this process was conceived before the pandemic and is intended to be set in a world where social distancing isn't presence.
"The Gays Days looks at a friendship circle made up of five gay male friends who live in London. They all come from different parts of the country and from various different ethnic and social economic backgrounds. We explore the lives and daily routines of Richie, Kyle, Anto, Benji and Aaron. We look at how opposites certainly do attract when it comes to friendship. A dynamic bunch, with a real sense of solidarity but all based in a realistic setting with trials and tribulations thrown in for equal measure."
