British Comedy Guide is to run Laughter Lounge, a virtual comedy festival from Monday 28th September until Sunday 4th October. Acts include Tom Allen, David O'Doherty and Luisa Omielan.
BBC Three is to pilot PRU, a sitcom set in a unit for struggling school pupils. The episode will be made by a production company that trains young people who have been removed from mainstream education.
A second series of Rose Matafeo's new BBC Three sitcom, Starstruck, is being written. Filming could take place back-to-back with Series 1 from this autumn.
