  • The improvised show will be different every night. " No Show is literally me hanging onto the edge of a cliff by my fingernails as audiences witness me turn a No Show into a show!"
  • Byrne will also be reviving his 2022 show The Paddy Lama - Shed Talks for a run in London this April

Jason Byrne will debut his latest improvised format No Show in Edinburgh this August, before taking it on a UK tour.

His promoters say: "Comedy genius Jason Byrne is revved up and ready to turn stand-up on its head again, as he prepares to return to the Edinburgh Festival this year from 1 - 25 August with his brand-new show No Show. Followed by a major UK tour from 3 October - 30 November.

"Renowned for leaving audiences in stitches, Jason is more prepared than ever to hit the fringe with his much-loved madness. There is no show like a Jason Byrne No Show. This is a show with no comedy safety net. By the end of No Show, audiences will have experienced a once in a lifetime show... or No Show. Jason and the audience will begin No Show with no show whatsoever. Witness Jason using his infamous audience interactions with a sprinkle of props, both on and off stage, to create No Show! And No Show will never ever be repeated!

"Jason's effervescent and hilariously daft style of riotous live comedy is sparked by off-the-cuff interactions with the audience that No Show will undoubtedly epitomise. Don't miss No Show and the chance to be part of the laughter-filled madness. Audiences best buckle up, brace themselves and be ready for a whirlwind of a ride that promises an unforgettable night of side-splitting hilarity!"

Byrne says: "I can't wait to take No Show to the Edinburgh Festival and on the road! No Show is literally me hanging onto the edge of a cliff by my fingernails as audiences witness me turn a No Show into a show! Using the beautiful, improvised madness that flows between myself and the audiences to create an amazing one-off performance! Comedy without the safety net!"

The show will run at 8:40pm daily during the Edinburgh Festival in August (not 12, 19) at Assembly Hall, before heading out on the following tour dates.

The Paddy Lama - Shed Talks

The promoters also say: "After a hugely successful run at the Edinburgh Festival in 2022, Jason will also be bringing The Paddy Lama - Shed Talks to London's Museum of Comedy for a strictly limited run from 16 April - 21 April. In this one-man play in which Jason plays his dad, we listen as Paddy takes us through his life, from being a young boy in Dublin, to blowing up the Gas plant as a Guinness worker in the 80's. The Irish Times stamped four stars on the play (not that Paddy would care!). Paddy unapologetically shares 80 years of wisdom and wit directly from his shed in Dublin that will leave audiences feeling warm inside!"

Byrne comments: "I am so excited to bring The Paddy Lama - Shed Talks to London this summer. This is a heartwarming, funny, tears down the face, tribute to my dad Paddy Byrne. Everyone in the world has a Paddy in their life. Paddy is your dad, grandad, husband, brother, or son, so if you want to laugh, cry and listen to crap advice, The Paddy Lama - Shed Talks will be sure to resurrect some beautiful memories in your hearts."
