A prank show series in which Manchester rapper Aitch plays tricks on his friends and family is to launch on Snapchat this Saturday.

The six episodes of What The Aitch see the music star "pull out all of the stops to prank his friends and family, teaching them some much needed home truths".

The instalments, which are each around 5 to 8 minutes, will see Aitch pranking his dad, rappers Mist & Tays, DJ Win, his fans' jealous boyfriends and some of his closest mates.

To help him dupe his targets, Aitch has called in the help of some of his favourite online comedians including Munya Chawawa and Crystal Wright.

Producers explain: "The series pulls back the curtain on Aitch's life and gives fans a glimpse of his crew, family and lifestyle whilst also giving them a chance to see how good a prankster he really is."

What The Aitch is part of Snapchat's move into original commissioning. The episodes have been made by Future Studios, with Ben Spiteri as series producer and Ryan Samuda as director. The executive producers are Ellie Winstanley and John Farrah.

Ben Spiteri, who co-wrote the series with Aitch, says: "Anyone who follows Aitch on his socials already knows what a funny and unpredictable guy he is. What The Aitch gave him a platform to put his pranking skills into overdrive and trust me... he didn't disappoint."

The first episode of What The Aitch launches on Snapchat on Saturday 21st January, with a new episode then released every two days. The series can be watched on the app or via snapchat.com (the website currently features a trailer).
