Flaps returns to Comedy Central for Series 2

Amy Gledhill is among the new stars of Comedy Central's female-led sketch strand Flaps, which returns for a second series next week, British Comedy Guide can exclusively reveal.
The stand-up, who also performs as part of The Delightful Sausage double act, will appear in the eight-part, short-form series, airing on Comedy Central UK's YouTube and Facebook pages from 5th August, alongside Andrea Valls, Nimisha Odedra, Lola Jagun, Jade Johnson and Leah Byrne.
Covering topics such as contraception urban myths, flirting and the chance for millennials to win their parents' debt-free lives, writers on the series include Gemma Arrowsmith, Tasha Dhanraj, Hannah George, Lorna Watson, Jess Bray, Sinead Fagan and Emerald Paston, with Elan James, Ed Jones and James Clay rounding out the acting cast.
Directed by commercials director Bethan Seller, Flaps' second series is produced by Mary Rose with production coordinator Holly Elmes. The executive producer for Comedy Central International is Rebecca Hewett (Jack And Dean Of All Trades, Fin Taylor Plays Bullshit Bingo).
Flaps' first series aired in 2019 with a different acting cast and predominantly different writing team, with those involved including Arrowsmith, Beth Rylance, Harriet Kemsley, Sarah Morgan and Kat Butterfield.
