Channel 4 has launched an online spin-off from The Last Leg, called The Last Leg: Correspondents.

The series, which has launched on the network's All 4 platform, sees comedians investigating topical stories on behalf of the hit comedy show.

Channel 4 explains: "In a post-truth world where journalists, pollsters, and a whole litany of experts have lost their ability to get inside people's heads and work out what the hell they are thinking, Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker are going to send our their own Last Leg Correspondents around the UK to find out what the hell is happening outside of the studio in the big bad world."

The channel adds: "The Last Leg: Correspondents is a brand new comedy strand exclusive to All 4. In each episode, Adam, Josh or Alex introduces a new correspondent who has hit the streets of the UK investigating topical stories on their behalf. Each correspondent will approach their report from their own unique perspective and allows them to deal with the stories in amusing, inventive and enlightening ways."

The first episode is online now. It sees Tez Ilyas presenting an episode called 'How to Get Radicalised'. As well as speaking to experts, Tez also takes to the streets and asks the British public to find out how everyday people think this might happen.

The second report, due to be published on Tuesday 27th June, sees Richard Gadd looking at Nationalism and Devolution.

In a future episode - each to be released on a Tuesday - Ivo Graham will talk about Fox Hunting, and Lolly Adefope and Rosie Jones are amongst the other comedian presenters signed up.
