Ivo Graham's stand-up special is now on YouTube
Ivo Graham's special, Live From The Bloomsbury Theatre, is now available to watch for free via YouTube.
Here it is:
The blurb for the show is as follows: "After two years of global/domestic chaos ('lockdown is over, the boys are back in town'), Ivo blasts through his most urgent concerns of the early 2020s, plus a few from the late 1990s, in the show first performed as My Future, My Clutter at the 2022 Fringe, beautifully filmed in London at the end of his UK tour in May 2023, with a freshly ironed shirt, a handful of schoolboy stories and a really quite outlandish amount of lamps on the stage.
"It's all here, if by 'all' you mean go karting regulations, Radio 1 text-ins, Eagles documentaries, and KFC's social media presence. Or, indeed, nuclear fallout, Peppa Pig World, Daniel Craig announcing the weekend, and the politics of your favourite malt loaf. How about wordles in nightclubs, risottos on Zoom, masks on stag dos, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's red card against Newcastle in 1998? Ivo is unpacking the whole feelings box of his life for you, and he's hopeful and confident that you'll enjoy it. Or, to put it more succinctly: ladies and gentlemen, the special."
The special has been available as a paid-download via 800 Pound Gorilla's website for a month. The comic talked about the special in a recent BCG interview.
This August he is set to return to Edinburgh with his latest stand-up hour, Grand Designs, his debut theatre piece Carousel, and his weekly 'revolution of the Fringe night out' in Comedians' DJ Battles. "Thrilled as he is to be attempting to wear all of these hats at once, stand-up remains the world he knows and loves best, and nowhere is this more exquisitely captured than in Live From The Bloomsbury Theatre, a hilarious, moving snapshot of his 32 years on earth and an elegant showcase for the 15 of them he's spent onstage. Ladies and gentlemen, the special!"
