Dave and Lana is a completely improvised mini-series, filmed on Zoom.
Creators Gemma North and Paul Barnhill decided not to tell each other who their characters were going to be prior to their first 'date'. The only information they had was that they were going to be playing lonely hearts who are meeting on Zoom for their first dates.
Dave and Lana are an unlikely couple. Dave is into CosPlay, Lana has never heard of Star Wars, but they seemly hit it off. They share their interests, some of which a little unusual, they laugh, they cry. After two dates they are dying to meet in the flesh and arrange a distanced meet but will it live up to expectations?
