Still Game Live to get TV broadcast
The live version of hit sitcom Still Game will be broadcast on television next month.
The popular BBC Scotland sitcom broadcast its last new episode in 2007, but has recently been revived for a series of sell-out live performances.
The new show, staged at the Scottish & Southern Electric Hydro Arena in Glasgow, has just completed a lengthy 21-night run, playing to more than 200,000 people.
Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill reprised their roles as Glaswegian OAPs Jack and Victor, alongside the sitcom's original cast: Winston (Paul Riley), Isa (Jane McCarry), Tam (Mark Cox) and Navid (Sanjeev Kohli).
BBC One Scotland has now confirmed that it will broadcast an hour-long version of the show on Friday 7th November, from 9pm.
A DVD of the full 2-hour production is due to be released on Monday 24th November, and is now available to pre-order
A 1999 Still Game live production has previously been released on DVD
Viewers outside Scotland can watch BBC One Scotland on Sky channels 951 (HD) or 977 (SD), Freesat 960, and Virgin Media 862. The show is expected to be available to watch on iPlayer after broadcast.
