BAFTA Awards 2014 - comedy nominations

BAFTA

The nominations for the prestigious BAFTA TV Awards 2014 have been announced. Notably The IT Crowd, the Channel 4 sitcom which ended last year, has been nominated four times - it appears in the Best Sitcom shortlist and also in the acting categories, once for each of the lead actors.

Also in the nominations are Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror, in the Single Drama category; and My Mad Fat Diary in the Drama Series category. Meanwhile Last Tango In Halifax actors Sarah Lancashire and Nicola Walker and My Big Fat Diary's Claire Rushbrook appear in the Supporting Actress nominees list.
