Comic Relief 2007 Preview - The Big One
This Friday 16th is Red Nose Day. We have a preview of what you can expect from Comic Relief 2007 below...
You can join a whole host of stars on BBC1 on Friday as the bi-annual charity bonanza, now in its 11th year, aims to raise millions for those in need in the UK and the around the world. The BBC will be broadcasting comedy treats between 7pm and 3am in an attempt to get you to part with some cash.
If you can handle the jarring juxtaposition between the comedy items and distressing videos and can tolerate being endlessly reminded of the telethon's phone number (trust us, you'll know 08457 910 910 off-by-heart by the weekend) then there's potentially a fair bit of good comedy this year, after all, it is being billed as 'The Big One'.
The highlights are probably the new Little Britain, Mr Bean and The Vicar of Dibley shorts (oh, and Top Gear making their own unique version of Top of the Pops) but there's plenty more too. Below we've picked out some of the comedy highlights from the schedule...
note: the timings we've given are mainly guesses as it will be a live show and thus there are no exact times.
