Chortle Awards 2025 nominees revealed

Taskmaster. Rosie Jones

Alma's Not Normal, Everyone Else Burns, Inside No. 9, Things You Should Have Done and We Are Lady Parts have been nominated for the Best TV Comedy prize in this year's Chortle Awards, British Comedy Guide can reveal.

The other television category - Best TV Comic - sees Bob Mortimer, Chris McCausland, Jamali Maddix, Rosie Jones and Sophie Willan in the running.

The nominees were chosen by a panel of industry experts with a public vote choosing the winners. Polls close on Friday next week and the winners will be unveiled at a London ceremony on Monday 17th March.

Last year's victors included Taskmaster (Best TV Show), Joe Lycett for Best TV Comedian, James Acaster's Hecklers Welcome for Best Tour and Kiri Pritchard-McLean for both Best Club Comedian and Best Compere.
