Miranda, Ed Reardon, Fry & Laurie win Press Guild Awards
BBC TV sitcom Miranda, radio sitcom Ed Reardon's Week and G.O.L.D. documentary Fry And Laurie: Reunited (pictured) picked up prizes at the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards last night.
Miranda won the 'Best Comedy' category, adding to the programme's growing collection to awards, which includes three British Comedy Awards, two Royal Television Society Awards, and the public-voted Comedy.co.uk Award for 'Best Comedy of 2010'.
Fry And Laurie: Reunited, a documentary which brought together Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie for the 30th anniversary of their double act, won the award for 'Best Multichannel Programme', while Christopher Douglas's Radio 4 sitcom Ed Reardon's Week was announced as 'Radio Programme of the Year'.
