Comedy stars take part in Comic Relief auction
An online auction is currently being held with comedians and celebrities offering up unique items and opportunities to help raise funds for Comic Relief.
The auction, which is being held on eBay, gives bidders the chance to win items from a variety of famous names. The auctions are taking place under the title of 'Twitrelief', as the celebrities taking part will follow the winning bidders on Twitter, retweet them and mention them on the social networking website. Alexander Armstrong and Christian O'Connell are amongst those taking part in 'Twitrelief'.
Many of the celebrities are also offering additional prizes as part of their auction. These include...
- Robert Webb, who will give the winner their very own unique comedy performance on Skype.
- Richard Curtis, who is offering the winner a walk-on role in his next movie.
- Miranda Hart (pictured), is giving away a signed script from her hit sitcom Miranda.
- Sharon Horgan will arrange for the winner to have a walk-on part in the new series of the More4 sitcom The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.
- and Nick Frost, the co-star of new movie Paul, is offering the winner of his auction a five minute phone call.
Other prizes include a signed Wallace and Gromit sketch by Nick Park, and The Inbetweeners yellow car.
Bidding on the 'Twitrelief' items will close on the 20th March 2011. To see the auctions visit ebay.co.uk
